Today, I'm going to review one of my new favorite bands new album! It hasn't come out yet, (to my knowledge) so this is an exclusive.
OK, so the album is mainly Melodic and Symphonic death metal, which is a relief with all these metalcore bands today. All the songs on the album show amazing talent, whether it be the Lead Guitarist, Bassist or the Drummer! This band is amazing as well as this album. This is their sophomore album, as their debut came out around 2001. To give a quick history, Death Requisite formed in 1999, but went on hiatus in 2005 after releasing a full length and two EPs. The band reunited in 2010, and has released two other EPs. These guys aren't new to the game, as they have played shows with Extol, Living Sacrifice, Sleeping Giant and more! These guys have a bright future in Metal if they keep it up! Good luck to Death Requisite! Side note: This album was produced by Kelly Scott Nunn, formerly of the highly acclaimed Metalcore/Screamo band, UnderOath, and the Southern metal band, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster! Who knew?
For people who like: Monotheist, Ovid's Withering, The Famine
I would like to personally thank Vocalist Vincent St. James and Guitarist Dave Blackmore for sending me this CD! You guys are amazing and I hope to see you guys play one day! Go follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and check out their music (and merch) on Bandcamp, ReverbNation, and YouTube.
