Concert Review: REDvolution Tour (September 26, 2015)
This is my first concert review (these won't happen to often)
REDvolution Tour (September 26, 2015)
The show was interesting. It was the first date of tour and the genres were a bit split. It was Red (Alternative metal) and Tedashii (Rap & Hip-hop) headlining with Wolves at the Gate (Metalcore) as an opener. Before the show, I bought WATG's sophomore album, VxV (pronounced "5 by 5") and a T-Shirt. The show started about half-hour after that. WATG played first. The played four songs, three from their sophomore and one from their debut. I remember the two of the songs, which were "Majesty and Misery" from their Sophomore and "Dead Man" from their debut. They ended their set and their Guitarist, Steve Cobucci, gave an amazing testimony. Of all the bands, his was the longest. The band ended their set and it was about another half hour before Tedashii was up.
Tedashii played about ten-twelve songs, of which I don't remember the names of any, and gave his testimony. Another half hour and then the main headliner, RED, played their set, and was about two hours. They played most of their older stuff with about five new songs. In all it was about thirty songs, including the encore. After the encore, Red thank everyone for coming, as well as Tedashii and Wolves at the Gate for playing with them.
Overall: It was an amazing concert, and it was the first time I had heard Wolves at the Gate, and now they are one of my favorite bands! Check them out!
